Dr Abaigeal Jackson

Abaigeal Jackson, PhD is Medical Affairs Scientist for Real World Evidence at Pfizer Healthcare Ireland. Abaigeal has a background in health research and patient registries, and her experience spans the public and private healthcare sectors, patient organisations and the biopharmaceutical industry. 

In her role, she oversees the generation of evidence from clinical practice to support safe and effective healthcare decision-making. Her European research collaborations involve data standardisation and interoperability among electronic health records and registries to generate better insights into health outcomes. Abaigeal believes having a trusted observational health research ecosystem in Ireland can enable better health decisions, outcomes and care for its citizens.

Abaigeal holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of Glasgow and an undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences (Zoology) from Trinity College Dublin.
